WAFL questions

THE top four teams played in the completion of round 12 in the WAFL on Saturday. And maybe it raised more questions than answers.

Claremont beat South Fremantle by 23 points in a game which suggested the Bulldogs aren't as good as many thought they were. South have lost only three games this year - twice comfortably beaten by Claremont and once by East Perth.

The Tigers look very well organised and are now two games ahead in top spot.

East Perth beat Subiaco by two points in a thriller at Leederville Oval. Early in the last quarter the Lions skipped away and it appeared they had done enough to win. Troy Butcher was the hero of the win by by the Royals.

But with Subi missing a couple of key young players it's obvious they are serious contenders.
