Me, I like football
|
THE Victorian Writers' Centre is back again with its
award-winning show Me, I Like Football, featuring writers and footy lovers
expressing their passion for footy-laden literature.
This year they're
featuring novelist and playwright Barry Dickins, Saints footy sage Cheyenne
Autumn, Annabel Mounsey from australianrules.com.au, footy-mad poet Justin
Treyvaud, your officiating MC Peter Salmon and the footy-themed open mic (where
the footy-crazed fans get their say).
It's all happening at Fitzroy's
home of football in the Community Room at the WJ Peterson Community Oval,
Edinburgh Gardens, Brunswick St, North Fitzroy (that's Brunswick Street Oval) on
Tuesday 23 September from 7.30pm, $5/$7.
It's good for
literature.
It's good for footy!
