Falcons fly into grand final

A NINE goal second quarter in the WAFL preliminary final has helped propel West Perth into its second consecutive grand final.

The near 10 goal defeat put an end to East Perth's hopes of a fourth premiership in a row and a Royal reign that lasted three and a third seasons.

Callum Chambers, who kicked four goals, and Troy Longmuir (three) were stars for the Falcons and youngster Kepler Bradley also played well in an impressive team performance.

Paul Ridley kicked five of East Perth's eight goals and Andrew Lovett also played well.

West Perth will meet Subiaco in the grand final next Sunday.
