2006 highs and lows

MY highlights and lowlight were all musical in nature.

Best things I saw were 'Neil Young: Heart of Gold' and 'Walk The Line'.

The worst was 'Boytown'. Unfortunately I was on a plane and watched most of it out of boredom.

Other highlights were 'Kenny', 'Candy', 'Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada' and 'Thank You For Smoking'.

Another lowlight was 'The Lake House' which again I saw on a plane. I asked for a parachute but was refused.

Winner of the award for "Film I Expected Nothing From But Was Pleasantly Surprised" was 'Eight Below' - a great story well told. Pretty good visually too.
