Lions back with a roarby LES EVERETTTHE match between the top two looked promising in the first half with South Fremantle more than matching Subiaco. However the Lions took complete control after half time and ran away to win by 57 points. Blake Broadhurst kicked seven goals and Brad Smith five for Subiaco. Sam Fielding kicked three goals on debut for the Bulldogs all from the goal square. West Perth's good run continued and they had a 35-point win over Claremont at home. Brent LeCras kicked eight goals for the Falcons and Callum Chambers dominated in the midlfield. Ashley Hansen kicked five goals for Swan Districts in his team's 22-point win over Peel. Jeffery Garlett kicked four goals and Garth Taylor had another good game. Hayden Ballantyne kicked four goals for Peel. Perth crushed East Fremantle bu 56 points.
