Ryan Murphy kicked six goals for the Bulldogs, Kyle Hams was strong in defence, Paul Mugambwa and Simon O'Keefe also played well. East Perth managed just four goals in the Perth derby and went down by 65 points to West Perth. Mark Seaby kicked three goals for the Falcons. Subiaco maintained their unbeaten record and defeated Claremont by 49 points. In the Saturday game Perth beat Peel by 43 points in terrible conditions at Rushton Park.
