Adam Campbell kicked 10 goals for West Perth who thrashed Peel by 100 points at Rushton Park. Craig Smoker showed a return to form, Jason Salecic kicked three goals and Robbie Warnock was good in the ruck. Hayden Ballantyne kicked four goals for Peel.

Subiaco dominated the 100 years of Subiaco Oval celebration match beating East Perth by 72 points. David Mapleston, Brad Smith and Trent Dennis-Lane each kicked four goals for the Lions. Tom Howlett showed promise on debut for the Royals and kicked two goals.

Perth made it two in a row with a 19-point win over Claremont at Claremont Oval. Aaron Zucconi was the star for the Demons and Mark Johnson and Ross Young were also in form. Ian Richardson kicked four goals for the Tigers.
