Dion headed for the Goldfields

FORMER Fremantle player Dion Woods has signed to play with Boulder City in the Goldfields Football League for the 2008 season.

Woods played 59 games for the Dockers from 2001 to 2005 winning the club's rising star award in his first year. His coach at Boulder will be Shane Cable who coached the Perth reserves when Woods was a colts player.

Woods will bring great versatility to the Tigers. He led the ruck for the WA 18s team in 2000, usually played centre half back for Perth and was a clever defender at AFL level.
