AFL round 13...

ON Friday night the Blues ran into a speed hump and Fev sooked as the Bombers raced away in the second half. Essendon 21.10 (136) Carlton 9.13 (67).
Alan Didak and Dane Swan again starred for the Pies who kicked 10 goals in the last quarter to crush the Dockers. Collingwood 26.13 (169) Fremantle 13.7 (85).
Barry brought back the biff in what could be his swansong. Jason Porplyzia kicked four for the Crows. Adelaide 12.13 (85) Sydney 10.9 (69).
Brisbane had snuffed out Melbourne by half time but the Dees won the last quarter. Daniel Rich again starred. Brisbane 16.15 (111) Melbourne 8.8 (56).
The Eagles showed the benefit of: 1. re-signing the coach mid-week; 2. Nic Naitanui. The Hawks were dumb in windy and wet conditions. West Coast 16.11 (107) Hawthorn 13.9 (87).
The Cats made it 13 in a row, Gary Ablett was again amazing and Shannon Byrnes kicked four goals. Geelong 18.14 (122) Port Adelaide 13.10 (84).
It was entertaining at the MCG where the Western Bulldogs took a long time to shake off the plucky Kangaroos. Daniel Giansiracusa kicked three goals after recovering from an ankle injury while Liam Anthony from East Fremantle made a fine debut for the Roos. Western Bulldogs 17.6 (108) North Melbourne 12.14 (86).
It took the unbeaten Saints 32 minutes to kick their first goal. They got going early in the second quarter and that was that with Tigers going 84-minutes without a goal. Justin Koschitzke kicked five goals.
St Kilda 13.14 (92) Richmond 5.6 (36).
So next Sunday the unbeaten teams will meet.
