Falcons fly into the four

WAFL round 21...
A Friday night round-21 at Fremantle Oval win has put West Perth back into the WAFL top four. East Perth had the bye and have dropped out.
Jason Salecic and Anthony Tsalikis each kicked three goals for the Falcons and the consistent Josh Pearce and ruckman Mitch Andrews were influential. The loss has ended South Fremantle's hopes of making the finals.
West Perth 15.13 (103) South Fremantle 11.11 (77).
The top of the table meeting was a slaughter with Claremont kicking 10 goals to one in the second half to beat Swan Districts by 73 points.
Ian Richardson kicked five goals for the Tigers, Luke Blackwell was brilliant in the midfield and Andrew Ruck controlled the ruck.
Claremont 18.10 (118) Swan Districts 6.9 (45).
East Fremantle consolidated a place in the four and beat Subiaco for the first time in 21 games. Ryley Dunn kicked four goals for the Sharks while Chris Masten, Mark McGough, Kim Monteath and Jamie McNamara gave the midfield plenty of mmmm.
Aiden Parker was the best player for the Lions.
East Fremantle 10.15 (75) Subiaco 9.10 (64).
Peel moved off the bottom of the ladder with a an eight-point win over Perth at Lathlain Park. Harley Bennell, Mathew Ware and Rory O'Brien caught the eye for Thunder while Tendai Mzungu and Matthew Moody (four goals) were the best Demons.
Peel 15.14 (104) Perth 13.18 (96).
Next Saturday there's a double header at Bassendean Oval with West Perth choosing to hold a home game there because their own place at Joondalup is too expensive.
